What is CARBON NET ZERO
It means that no greenhouse gas emissions will be attributable to Neelsâs activities.
Occasionally, we extend our support to making an undertaking carbon net zero if the cause truly resonates with us, by donating certified emission reductions (carbon credits).
Our carbon credit donations
In December 2024, Vaquita II and her skipper, Neels Terblanche, will embark on an epic journey circumnavigating the entire African continent starting in Cape Town. Including Neels’s personal objectives, the purpose is to raise funds and awareness of the critical endangered Vaquita porpoise in addition to Operation Smile.
Neels is showcasing his support for climate action, embarking on his journey around Africa to be entirely carbon net zero. To support Neelsâs grand ambition to have a net zero impact on carbon emissions resulting from the journey, CDM Africa Climate Solutions will donate carbon offsets toward this grand voyage, ensuring a net zero impact on climate change.
